Privacy
In short: you can use the site without signing up, and then we store nothing about you. If you create an account, we store only what is needed to sign you in and to keep what you have built.
If you do not sign in
Everything you enter and build on the site — portfolio, goal, course progress — is kept only in your browser and only until you close the tab. It is not sent to the server.
If you create an account
We store on the server:
- Your email address — so that you can sign in.
- Your password as a hash. The password itself is not stored and cannot be read.
- A hash of your recovery phrase. Only you know the phrase itself.
- What you have built on the site: portfolio, watchlist, chosen goal, settings and course progress.
A service record (cookie) is kept in your browser so the site recognises you for 30 days. The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.
Signing in with Google
If you sign in with Google, we receive from Google only your email address and confirmation that it is yours. We never see your Google password. The site does not request access to your mail, contacts or files.
Who receives requests from your browser
- Cloudflare — the site is hosted and accounts are stored on its servers. It also counts visits without cookies and without cross-site tracking.
- Company data sources. Prices, filings and news are requested by the site itself, from its own server. Company logos and Wikipedia descriptions are loaded directly by your browser, so those services see your IP address, as with any ordinary visit.
- Google — only if you open the sign-in window or sign in with Google.
We do not sell your data or pass it to advertising networks.
Affiliate links
The site contains affiliate links to the Bybit crypto exchange; they are always labelled. Following them takes you to Bybit's website, where its own rules apply. We do not see what you do on the exchange's site.
How to delete your data
Click your icon in the site header and choose “Delete account and all data”. The account, saved data and all sign-ins are removed immediately and cannot be restored.
Questions
For questions about your data, write to the support address shown in the Google sign-in window. If this text changes, the date at the top of the page will be updated.
